"My baby can't start swimming yet as they haven't had their immunisations"
This is a myth! Guidance from the NHS that was updated in June 2025, states that you do not need to wait until your child has had their immunisations to start swimming.
In fact you can bring your newborn as soon as you feel ready - our youngest Puddle Duck was just over a week old! We advise allowing the umbilical cord to have healed over, but you don't need to wait until your baby has had their immunisations.
So there is no need to delay your little one's start in our lessons. You may want to miss a lesson if they have had their immunisations but there is no need to worry as our holiday and courtesy class system means you can book a holiday that day and then receive a courtesy class voucher to do a catch up on a another day, meaning your little one doesn't have to miss out!
