We can’t wait to welcome you to Puddle Ducks at Delius School– in the meantime, here’s some information that we hope you find useful. Have a splashtastic time!
Location: Co-op Academy - Delius.
As you enter from the main road, there is a school to your left, but Delius school is to the right.
Parking: As you enter from the main road, there is a large car park to the right. There is also a car park in front of this one, through the green gates which should be open. This is right in front of the school main entrance.
Essential information:
- Entry to the pool is via the main school doors.
- These are security locked and our Poolside Assistant Suzanne will let you through 15 minutes before your class time. If you arrive sooner than this, please wait in the car park.
- Suzanne will direct you to the pool, which is just to the right when you are through main reception.
- Please leave your shoes in the marked area. No shoes allowed in the changing rooms or poolside. There are overshoes if you prefer.
- Please keep your belongings to a minimum and do not bring valuables. The changing cubicles are used by each class, so there is a crossover.
- Please do not come onto poolside any sooner than 5 minutes before your class to avoid congestion on the poolside
- Please do not enter the pool unless told to do so by your teacher
- You will be asked to shower before entering the pool – there is a shower on poolside
- Strictly no eating in the changing rooms or smoking on the premises
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained.

Changing rooms: There are 3 large cubicles, each with a bench, 3 double disabled changing rooms (for 2 to share) with a toilet plus one large changing room with a changing table.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use of the pool during hire times
Access: Disabled access is available.
Spectators can view from poolside, chairs and benches are available, just be aware that poolside will be very hot!

- Poolside assistant: We have a poolside assistant at Baby and Pre-school classes
- Depth: 0.9 metre depth in shallowest point, slow gradual slope to 1.3m depth
- Maximum class ratios:
- 8 children/adult pairs:1 teacher (Floaties, Splashers & Kickers)
- 8 children/adult pairs:1 teacher (Little Dippers & Dippers)
