All you need to know - Stratford Manor
If you are attending our Stratford Manor pool for the first time or it is not your regular pool, please read the information below:
Location:
Stratford Manor, Warwick Road, Stratford Upon Avon, CV37 0PY
Parking: There is car parking on site with plenty of parking.
The hotel is at the top end of the car park.
Essential Information:
- When you arrive at the hotel please inform the reception staff you are here to swim with Puddle Ducks and they will let you through into the pool/spa area.
- Please arrive no more then 10 minutes before the start of your lesson and leave the changing rooms within 15 minutes of your lessons finishing.
- Due to the limited spaces in the changing rooms we ask that you do not leave your belongings on the side, but they are put away in the lockers provided and we ask that you do not bring a pushchair into the building as there is limited space to store them. If needed, please bring a car seat with you and this can be stored in the spa area or in the reception area during your lesson.
- IMPORTANT - Look out for and read the Puddle Ducks signs and notices please
- Please do not enter the pool unless told to do so by your teacher.
- Strictly no eating or smoking on the premises.
- Photograph's are prohibited at this venue.
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly nappy wraps and liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained.
Changing Rooms:
- There are male, female and disabled changing rooms.
- Please leave your belongings in a locker you will need to bring a £1.
- Please do not change your children on the sun loungers poolside.
- If you require assistance due to a disability (either your own disability or your child’s), then you are able to bring a spectator to help as necessary.
- Outdoor shoes should be removed and left in the changing rooms.
- Please bring a changing mat for your little one (Floaties, Splashers & Kickers) to use in the changing rooms
- Please do not allow your children to climb on the changing room benches or in the lockers
- Please take ALL nappies home with you
- Please bring your towels poolside for your babies
- Please supervise your child at all times
Spectators:
- Spectators are allowed poolside, but there is limited space.
- Shoes are strictly prohibited, over shoes or no shoes should be worn (specific pool shoes are allowed).
- May we ask that during crossover of classes that spectators waiting to watch their child wait in the spa reception area and do not go poolside until the class before you have left. This will ease traffic on poolside where during crossover this area can become busy with double the number of customers.
- We have a dedicated viewing area that is assigned to us (please see pool plan below), leaving the rest for the hotel’s members and guests. Please ensure we only use this area (which has the best viewing of your class) and not the other seats around poolside. We ask that the sun loungers are used as a “bench“ style seating area, leaving room for others to join you.
Technical information:
- Pool Temp: 30-31oC FLOATIES AND SPLASHERS MUST WEAR A THERMAL WETSUIT OR A BODY WARMER
- Pool Dimensions: The pool is 17m x 19m and we have a roped off section of the pool 19m x 1.5m. Entry is over the side of the pool or down the steps nearest the changing rooms.
- Depth: a uniform depth of 1.4m. Any accompanying parent or carer needs to be 5'3" or taller to attend lessons in this pool
- Max Preschool Class Ratios: 6 children/adult pairs:1 teacher
