Puddle Ducks Pyjama Week
Puddle Ducks Charity Pyjama Week - Next one October 2025
One of the highlights of our swimming programme, Pyjama Week is more than just fun – it’s an essential part of water safety education.
During these special lessons, children (and their grown ups if in the pool) come to class in their pyjamas and experience what it feels like to swim in clothes. This helps them understand how different the water feels in real-life situations, while still enjoying the songs, games and activities they love.
It’s a brilliant way to give children practical skills and confidence in the water, while also reassuring parents that their little ones know what to do if they ever find themselves in the water unexpectedly.
Our swimmers (and teachers!) look forward to Pyjama Week every term – it’s a memorable milestone and a valuable part of your child’s swimming journey.
For our Pyjama Week in October, we also like to raise money for causes close to our heart. This year, we’ll be supporting Martin House to help fund their brand-new hydrotherapy pool!
We usually raffle off some excellent prizes to raise funds – so if you know of any local small businesses who might like to donate a prize and get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
