Baby & Pre-school: A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained. Why not buy one of our great value Essential Kits which contains everything you need for your baby swim lesson.

Swim Academy: A swim hat, well-fitting goggles and swimwear that isn’t loose e.g., not Bermuda shorts. We provide a complimentary swim hat when you join us and you can find our range of goggles and other Swim Accessories in our online shop.

Due to limited space in the health club reception, please where possible leave baby car seats and prams in the car. If you are walking to the pool and will be bringing a pram or pushchair please contact the Customer Care Team on 0117 9717165 so arrangements can be made. 

There are baskets in the Puddle Ducks changing room to use to store your belongings. If using the male changing room please bring a £1 coin and store your belongings in a locker.

All classes:

Please ensure you log your car registration upon arrival. Failure to do so could result in a parking fine which Puddle Ducks will be unable to overturn on your behalf.

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of your lesson.

Baby Preschool Classes:

Please sign in at the club main reception desk, remove footwear and take into the changing rooms with your belongings.

Adults are encouraged to arrive swim-ready, where possible.

·        There is a female only changing room situated to the left of the club reception desk. This is for Puddle Ducks use only. There is a male changing room that is shared with hotel guests and members.

• Lockers are available for your use in the male changing rooms (bring a coin for use).
• There are nappy bins available in the unisex changing room by the pool reception. Do not place any nappies in the male and female changing rooms bins.
• Please ensure your child visits the WC and has a shower before their class
• Baby & Preschool parents please be poolside ready for the start of your lesson.

Swim Academy classes:

Please sign in at the small desk in the corridor, remove footwear and take into the changing rooms with your belongings.

Swim Academy children are encouraged to arrive swim-ready, where possible.

·        There is a unisex changing room to the left of the club reception desk which is solely for Puddle Ducks customers and a male changing room which is shared with hotel guests and members.

• Please use the gym door to access the male changing room. A member of the reception team will open this for you.
• For those using the unisex changing room, please access the pool via the gym door. A member of the reception team will open this for you.
• Please walk through the changing rooms, stopping for a quick shower before bringing your child to poolside for their lesson.
• Please come to poolside no more than 5 minutes before the start of your lesson.
• Unless you are a parent spotter please leave your child with their teachers and leave the pool room via the door on poolside.
• Parents may wait in the lounge area, please do not congregate in the club reception.

After the class:

·        If you are using the male changing room, please collect your child from the changing room door on poolside.

·        If using the unisex changing room, please collect your child from the poolside door.
