Puddle Ducks are recruiting for a Baby & Preschool teacher to work at a pool in East Grinstead on a Sunday morning, 9am-12pm and Chailey on a Sunday afternoon 2:30pm-5:30pm.

Classes run approx. 42-44 weeks per year, some work in the school summer holidays is therefore required.
Our teachers are right at the centre of what we do.
Our success is totally dependent on having the best teachers, where commitment, passion, loyalty and the ability to create a great rapport with parents, carers, babies and children are all essential.

•    Teaching swimming classes for children from birth to 5 years old individually and / or 4-10 year olds as part of a team.
•    Maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for your customers
•    Sharing a passion for everything to do with baby and children's swimming
•    Being a reliable and engaging team member
•    Loving every second of what you do!

Basic qualifications will need to be achieved with our help and support:
•    STA Baby & Pre-School Swimming course and
•    STA Lifesaving course which is a 1 day course.
•    Puddle Ducks in house training.

Ideal candidates will be able to attend the STA Baby & Pre-School course running in London from 19th-22nd June followed by our Puddle Ducks course on 25th & 26th July in Cranbrook.

•    Hourly rates start at £14.75 for trainees (with no previous swimming teaching experience, where we have paid for all training) when initially signed off to teach solo, rising quickly, up to a maximum of £26.50 at weekends after 2 years of teaching.

Puddle Ducks are recruiting for swimming teachers to work in and around the Tunbridge Wells area over the weekend for the following shifts:

Fridays 4:15pm-6:15pm & Saturdays 11am-2pm approx. in the Tunbridge Wells area.  
Sundays full day with morning / early afternoon in Tunbridge Wells area and evening in Otford.  
These shifts can be split between 2 candidates

Our next fantastic teacher could be YOU!

We are looking for a Poolside Assistant to cover our Sunday morning session at Brambletye Prep in East Grinstead, 8:30am-12:15pm.

(Timings are Poolside Assistant shift length which may fluctuate slightly from term to term)

There may also be other shifts available at other local venues as well as the opportunity to progress to teaching our award winning classes.

Pre agreed ad hoc cover by mutual agreement at other times when needed and first refusal on further Poolside Assistant sessions when they become available in the area.

The Poolside Assistant Role with Puddle Ducks:To ensure our customers arrive for their classes on time, with the right swimwear, understanding what to expect and with huge smiles!

Must be a real “people person” and be totally reliable, consistent and professional.

Ability to assist customers with their little ones in the changing rooms.

Flexibility to cover other sessions appreciated - use of own car a necessity. Free parking at all venues.

Enthusiasm for everything Puddle Ducks is essential!

This is a customer service role, not directly involved with teaching our classes.

£12.25 per hour for over 21s, hourly rate dependent on ageFull training given.
DBS check will be completed as part of our referencing process.
