Join Our Puddle Ducks Team!

We are a close-knit team that love to give our customers great memories and a fantastic time at their swimming lessons every week.  Our classes are popular so we are increasing the number, variety and location to try and meet demand! For our teacher and poolside assistant roles, no previous experience is necessary as you will go through all relevant training prior to starting the role with us.

Our current vacancies are:

  • Poolside Assistant - Sunday Afternoons

    Are you looking for a fun and rewarding role working with children and their parents? Primarily a customer service role, our poolside assistants are the face of Puddle Ducks as you will be the first person our swimmers see as they arrive at the pool!

    Main responsibilities include:

    • Meeting and greeting customers, ensuring everyone has what they need for the class.
    • Ensuring the pool area is clean, tidy and safe for customers.
    • Assisting with any customer queries.
    • Taking the register, sorting the equipment and clearing away following the class. 
    • Providing assistance to the teacher, including in an emergency.

    We are looking for a Poolside Assistant at the MS Centre, Halton for Sunday afternoons (mainly term time only) between 2pm and 4:30pm. Please complete our Job Vacancy enquiry form if you are interested in joining the team!

    Swim Academy Teachers

    Weekends - Swanbourne & Wendover

    Our Swim Academy classes, designed to 4-10 years olds where parents/guardians are no longer in the water, focus very much on us developing children individually. We give each child time within the class to help them build their confidence and provide individual feedback to improve their technique. Our teachers are trained to observe and feedback to children on an individual basis, building strong teaching relationships with each child in the class to give them the best possible chance of success.

    Applicants must have positive can-do attitudes, be reliable and have a flexible approach to working. There is comprehensive training initially (and then regular ongoing CPD etc), which is lots of fun, but also hard work! The reward of being fully qualified, knowledgeable teacher who can help develop children's confidence and swimming abilities is second to none!

    Weekend hours are available in early 2026 with a view to being able to offer after school sessions as the customer demand increases. An ongoing commitment to weekend work is required.

    As well as our comprehensive initial training (all training courses are paid for by us and your training hours are paid at £12.50 per hour), we offer ongoing training and support, excellent rates of pay (£25 per hour plus for weekend sessions once qualified), free lessons to your children and an extremely rewarding career.

    Weekend Baby & Preschool Teachers

    Buckingham & Wendover

    We are seeking new teachers who have a passion for water, swimming and working with children!

    Our Baby & Pre-school programme of classes focuses on newborn babies up to 4 year old children. Leading the way in our approach to Baby & Pre-school classes, following our Technical team's involvement in industry research, we are the first National swim school to adopt a totally 'child-led' approach swimming.

    Applicants must have positive can-do attitudes, be reliable and have a flexible approach to working. There is a significant amount of training initially (and then regular ongoing CPD etc), which is lots of fun, but also hard work!

    All training courses are paid for by the business, and your training hours are paid at £12.50 per hour, rising to over £25 per hour for weekend teaching once fully signed off! We also offer free lessons to all of our team members children, holiday pay and inclusion in an annual bonus scheme.
