Suzanne and Gary Horton enjoyed their careers as legal professionals until following the birth of their second child, they discovered that their traditional roles didn’t leave enough time for family life. So, in 2011, they bought the Greater Manchester franchise before later adding the Worcestershire and Derbyshire franchsise to there business family.
Jane teaches our Baby and Pre-school, Swim Academy and Elite Swim academy classes. As Head of Teaching, Jane oversees the teaching team, ensuring standards are maintained at the highest level. Jane loves sharing her knowledge not just with the children and parents but with all of our new Puddle Ducks teachers. Jane trains, develops and assesses our new and existing teachers to make sure all our Puddle Ducks teachers deliver first class lessons week in, week out.
When shes not teaching, Jane enjoys spending time with her daughter and their horse Kit.
Kayleigh joined us a customer with her eldest daugher back in 2014, and was on maternity leave with her second child when she had a change of career to join our teaching team in 2018. Teaching all our levels but specialising in Swim Academy.
Kayleigh comes from a sporting background and her daughters have followed in her footsteps leading Kayleigh to finish her teaching to spend her weekends driving them to matches. She then joined our office team and was promoted to Customer Care Manager back in 2024.
When Kayleigh is not helping our customers, she can be found playing netball, or cheering for her daughters at their numerous sports clubs.
Lou has been a member of our teaching team for 11 years this autumn. Starting as a poolside assistant before undertaking our Teacher training and then later becoming a Senior Teacher for our Baby & Preschool programme.
Lou is incredibly knowledgable and along with Jane helps develop and mentor our new teachers.
Lou is also an avid swimmer as well, and can often be found on a marathon outdoor swim. She has not only swam the channel with her amazing team Zebra, but also complete a huge end to end Lake Windermere swim.
