Getting babies and children to be comfortable and confident under the surface of the water is a key part of their swimming journey. All our teaching methods are consistent with research developments in infant physiology and infant psychology and with technical advances in swimming. We work closely with Birthlight and the STA on the best and safest way to submerge children so that they feel empowered and never forced. The answer is simple, the child decides.
We have spent many years developing progressive lesson plans that help develop children into swimmers from an early age. Our approach to swimming ensures that your child’s needs are expertly fulfilled and will nurture their confidence in the water.
During Puddle Ducks Baby & Pre-school lessons, our teachers a. Taught in lovely warm pools with a maximum of ten children, our classes incorporate rhyme, music and movement based on extensive child development research. We’ve even had professional musicians help to write our unique class songs.
Our highly qualified teachers are specially trained to adapt the activities to suit each child's individual needs- they are passionate, professional, nurturing, fun and loved by our swimmers.
