Registering your Card for Monthly Payments

Your My Puddle Ducks account remains unchanged as part of our change of ownership, however we do need you to complete one action for us please to continue with your monthly payments moving forward. In line with banking regulations, as we have a new bank account as part of the new ownership, we need everyone to reregister their bank cards for the monthly payments. We cannot copy over card details from the previous owner's account as we don't store your card details so we cannot avoid this process unfortunately! 

We ask that you please update your card details in your 'My Puddle Ducks' account to re-register the bank card that you wish your monthly payments to be taken from. A transaction for £1 will be processed to comply with banking security regulations, which will then be deducted automatically from your next monthly payment.

You can re-register the card you currently use for your monthly payments (i.e. there is no need to use a new/different card) but you are of course, welcome to enter new/different card details if you wish. The card details that you enter will be used for your future monthly payments in accordance with our terms and conditions.

We need you to take this action by 4th September so that you are ready for your next monthly payment and to secure your child's swimming place. Please note, that the monthly payment date will move to 5th of each month (as we have a different payment date to the current Wakefield and Sheffield franchise) and any vouchers or courtesy class vouchers that you had on your account will remain.

Registering Bank Cards with Puddle Ducks

  • How to register your card

    1. Login to your 'My Puddle Ducks' account
    2. Click on/tap ‘Change Card Details’
    3. Check your billing details, accept the Privacy Policy and Lesson Terms & Conditions and then click on/tap ‘Confirm'
    4. You will then see a summary screen with the instruction to pay £1.00. Click on/tap 'Pay'
    5. This takes you to our payment partner, Opayo, where you enter your card details and click 'Confirm card details'
    6. Once the £1.00 payment has gone through you will be returned to a screen on your My Puddle Ducks account with a message saying "Card details changed successfully".

    Please note, if you have siblings swimming with us, you only need to complete this process once (assuming all your children are enrolled under the same Guardian account).

  • Can my monthly payments be paid by someone other than me?

    Yes, your monthly payments can be made by a card registered to someone other than the primary Guardian on your account. This additional cardholder is easy to add to the account via your 'My Puddle Ducks' account.

    1. Login to your 'My Puddle Ducks' account and select the 'Payments' tab.
    2. Add the additional person's details using the 'Add a new Cardholder for regular payments' button.
    3. Once they are set up, the additional person's details will be available to select using the 'Change card details' process, detailed above.
