Sands and Puddle Ducks East Kent

Did you know that Puddle Ducks support a charity every year during their October Pyjama week? This year Puddle Ducks East Kent are supporting Sands.
So who are Sands? Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity. Tragically every day 15 babies die before, during or shortly after birth in the UK. That means around every 90 minutes a family experiences this tragedy.
Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, work with healthcare professionals to improve the care families receive and promote and fund research to reduce the number of babies dying.
With the support of companies like Puddle Ducks East Kent we are able to provide support for families across the UK including East Kent. Sands supports families across the UK via its helpline, online forum support information and a network of support groups including groups in East Kent which provide peer to peer support, liaise with local hospitals to make improvements
Not only will Puddle Ducks' efforts ensure we support families and improve the care they receive but help us reduce the number of babies dying, by funding vital research into the causes of these deaths and raising awareness of safer pregnancy and medical care.
