Swimming has always been a big part of family life for me, as a competitor in my younger days and now as a mum of two competitive swimmers. I still burst with pride at my own youngsters achievements and I know that early water confidence and instilling a love of water from a very young age has played a crucial part in their success today. I was thrilled to launch Puddle Ducks in the Lincolnshire area in 2010, and have enjoyed every moment of bringing our fabulous programmes to babies and children across the county since then - Nicola Wilson

Puddle Ducks Baby & Pre-school
Our Baby & Pre-school programme is a wonderful bonding experience. Progressive lesson plans instil a water confidence and a love of swimming whilst our nurturing teachers tailor activities to your child’s abilities and needs.

Taught in lovely warm pools with a maximum of ten children, our classes incorporate rhyme, music and movement based on extensive child development research. Our lessons are so well received that the children we teach can often swim over 10 metres before they start school.

Puddle Ducks Aquanatal
Our Aquanatal programme is fantastic for mummies-to-be, offering the perfect combination of gentle exercise, muscle strengthening and relaxation.

Puddle Ducks Swim Academy
We also run classes for older children in our Swim Academy classes, so we will be with you throughout your whole journey from baby to independent swimmer and who knows, maybe a future Olympic champion.

Whether your child is coming from a pre-school class, or has never been in the water before, you can be sure that they will get the attention that they need as our activities are individually tailored to suit each child.

We look forward to welcoming you into our Puddle Ducks family very soon!

What Our Customers Think

"I have just booked Connor's second set of lessons. I have been so amazed in the difference in him in the short amount of time he has been with you (just less than half a term!). He joined after being at one of the local gym type lessons however there were up to 15 children in the group, 1 teacher, lots of messing about and no adults watching what was happening - we persisted as it wasn't this bad when he had started there! He was forced to jump in - something he wasn't ready for as he hates water over his head and ended up hating it and not wanting to go to the lessons. After we quit there I wanted him to go to swimming lessons somewhere else, I think swimming is a very important life skill and something children need to learn early. He needed somewhere he would learn at his own pace, where he wouldn't be pushed to do something he wasn't ready for. Well we found it!! He has only been for about 5 weeks - started late in the term and he has just finished the first half of his first term. He has gone from not wanting to get in the water to jumping in (from sitting) with the help of the coaches in the water!! We went for a weekend away over half term and he went swimming with his dad. I was amazed when I watched him jump in (from standing), when he pushed his noodle away and had a go swimming on his own and when he put his face in the water!! I wish we had found these lessons first! I am writing to tell you all this as it would not have been possible had it not been for the hard work the coaches have put in with him!! It is the first time (since he started any swimming lessons) that I can honestly say he had fun!! Thank you to Nick and Lisa they are amazing and so patient with him. I can't wait to see how they react to him when he stands up to jump in (hopefully) when he is back at his class this week!" Lauren
