We are having so much fun already as part of our first Water Safety Pyjama Week of 2026! All our swimmers have been loving swimming in their PJs, and practising so many essential lifesaving skills - from jumping in, turning and reaching for the side, righting themselves if they were to fall into water backwards, rotating from their front to their back, and so much more! Our wonderful Swim Academy classes have also been loving practising their rescue skills, including throw rescues and shout-and-signal rescues that they could use in a real-life emergency, from as young as four years old!
Water safety and personal survival skills are woven throughout every single one of our lessons, however practicing those skills during our Water Safety Pyjama Week is even more vital, so our children learn that they can still kick and reach for the side, even if they fall into water fully-clothed.
We are so proud of all our fabulous little swimmers for their amazing swimming so far this Pyjama Week- and the fun is only just beginning!
