  • We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a swimming teacher, initially in Baby & Preschool (0-4 years of age) and then also in Swim Academy (4-10 years of age).

    The successful teacher will join us on Monday mornings in Swanton Morley from 9:45am - 12:15pm

    • The ideal candidate should also be available to work on Sunday mornings
    • Part Time, Permanent Position
    • £19.00 - £21.50 per hour
    • Term Time only
    • All equipment is provided
    • 12.07% holiday pay added to monthly pay
    • You should have one of the following qualifications;

      • STA Level 2 Baby & Pre School
      • Swim England Level 2 in Teaching Swimming to Babies & Toddlers
      • Approved Lifesaving qualification
      • You must be able to swim 25 metres and swim down to the deep end of a pool

      If you are not currently in the possession of the required qualifications we will still consider your application.

      All our teachers carry out further in house training before they start teaching for Puddle Ducks, consisting of;

      • 1-2 day internal training course to be completed outside Norfolk
      • Extensive online training
      • Co-teaching with experienced teachers
      • Training rate £12.75 per hour

      Responsibilities

      • Instruct and supervise swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and children ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
      • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote water safety and swimming skills.
      • Monitor swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their swimming abilities.
      • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
      • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the swimming area and equipment.

  • We have a vacancy for a Poolside Assistant to join us at our pool in Levington (IP10 0LL). We have the following hours available, starting from September 2026 (or possibly sooner);

    • Mondays: 16.45 – 18.45pm - Levington
    • Thursdays: 16.45 – 18.45pm - Levington

    *The ideal person will have flexibility to take on additional shifts as they become available and start the shift earlier at 3:45pm if required.*

    The role involves meeting and greeting customers, helping our swimming teacher with equipment during, before and after classes, mopping and cleaning changing rooms and assisting with customer queries. Ideally you will have experience of working with or looking after young children. You will need to be approachable, friendly and a smile is a must! You must also be happy to get your hands dirty and muck in with cleaning tasks within a warm environment. You must also be proactive in searching for cleaning tasks to do.

    No previous experience is necessary, however you must be very reliable (with references to prove this) and have your own transport. The pool hall is a very warm environment so the candidate must be happy to work in this temperature.

    Poolside Assistant Remuneration - starting rate £12.25 per hour

    Valid driving licence required.
