Every Puddle Ducks teacher that takes one of our lessons has to complete 300 hours of training to become a Baby and Pre School teacher. 50 of those are in the classroom and the rest are in the water. Once you are a qualified teacher your training doesn’t stop there… They complete 16 hours of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) a year and that’s as well as repeating vital biannual Health & Safety training and an online Lifesaving courses three times a year. Every two years we are back in the pool to learn all things First Aid related to the water and every 6 months you’ll find your teacher dives down to the deepest part of the pools they teach in to ensure they are ready to do so if needed. This ongoing training means that our teaches can be confident in the water to enjoy the lessons and focus on your child’s development knowing their back ground technical knowledge is all in place!
