Welcome to our Mercure Telford Centre Hotel pool venue!
We teach our Baby & Pre-School swimming classes here in this Shropshire based venue.
Puddle Ducks have use of a lane in this beautiful hotel pool during lesson times with spacious changing rooms and on-site café bar. Our expert swimming teachers tailor the lessons to progress every individual at their own pace as we want all of our children to love the water and learn to swim beautifully in a fun, relaxed environment.

Parking & Directions: Plentiful parking available at the front of the hotel. Parking is free for Puddle Ducks customers but all customers must enter their car registration number in the touchscreen at the leisure club reception to avoid a fine. (Puddle Ducks accepts no responsibility for any parking charges incurred through failure to add correct car registration number).
The swimming pool is located by following the signs to the leisure club taking the corridor to the left of the main reception desk.
Essential Information:
- Please do not come to the pool any sooner than 10 minutes before your class to avoid congestion on the poolside and in the changing rooms
- IMPORTANT - Look out for and read the Puddle Ducks signs and notices
- Please do not enter the pool unless told to do so by your teacher
- Strictly no eating or smoking on the premises
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly Nappy Wraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained. - All nappies and swim nappies must be taken home and not left at the pool. Nappy bags are provided by your Puddle Ducks Teacher, if needed.
Changing Rooms:
- Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of your classes to allow for change-over in the changing rooms
- Please remove your shows in the entrance foyer to keep the poolside clean.
- Please remind children to use the toilet prior to lessons if applicable.
- Please supervise your child at all times
- Please bring a changing mat for your little one (Floaties, Splashers & Kickers) to use in the changing rooms
- Please bring a towel poolside for your child

- 8 children/adult pairs: 1 teacher (Baby & Preschool)
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks has a lane during hire times (the remainder of the pool is used by members only).
Spectators: Only 4 spectators in total per class are allowed poolside each week, due to limited space poolside. Parents/carers not spectating that week can wait in the leisure reception area or hotel reception. Parents/carers must stay onsite though in case of emergency.
Mobile Phones: Please remember that whilst it is fine to have your phones with you to take photos in Splash Time (as long as there are no other customers in the background), please do not use your phones in the changing rooms.
