The Puddle Ducks Notts Leics Star Teacher for Autumn '23 is...Pam Garget!!
Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who sent in their nomination as we received over 30 from our customers and as you would expect, this made the job of selecting the overall winner a difficult one!!
A huge congratulations to Pam for her winning nomination, which was randomly selected by one of our local pool owners and a massive thank you to Laura and Josh, a Little Dipper at The Key Health Club for taking the time to send it to us:
"My son is in her Little Dipper class and has loved the water since he started as a baby. He gets so happy when we’re in the pool that he can be like a can of fizzy pop ready to explode.
A few months ago he was starting to get so distracted that it became a bit of an ongoing battle with him to pay attention in the pool. I had a few small chats about it with Pam as I was beginning to feel a bit like he wasn’t getting the most from lessons (and probably putting others off). But she was so reassuring.
Her experience of seeing so many toddlers made me feel better, and she’s always taken Josh’s ‘fizzy pop’ in her stride. Josh still loves swimming, and is also improving on his jumping in through her patience. A big thank you from us all on seeing through a toddler’s wobbles and still enabling him to love the water as much as he does."
Pam is now a contender for the national Puddle Ducks Star Teacher award - Good luck Pam!!
