This section contains information on the opportunities available within the Puddle Ducks Oxfordshire team.

  • This vacancy is term time only on Friday mornings.

Our business is totally dependent upon our customers having the best experience possible when bringing their babies to our classes.  Commitment, loyalty and the ability to create a good rapport with carers (usually mothers), and small children are all absolutely essential.

Customer care is foremost, as well as a clean, smart appearance.  You also need a pleasant and outgoing personality as we would expect you to be able to anticipate and respond to your customers’ needs.  You need to be mentally alert with good vision and hearing (contact lenses, glasses and hearing aids are acceptable so long as you are comfortable and safe wearing them for long periods of time, poolside).

We would expect you to work as part of a team at all times.  You need good communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure you maintain excellent relationships with both your customers and the wider Puddle Ducks team.  You will need a reasonably flexible approach with access to telephone and ideally also email communication.

As well as being a primary contact for our customers, you will be a Puddle Ducks representative, and responsible for Puddle Ducks’ equipment and sometimes money, so need to have a responsible and trustworthy disposition.

  • Are you looking for a new opportunity?

Could you be our new Swim Academy swimming teacher - teaching 4-10 year old children?

Ideally, you will already have some swimming teaching experience but this isn't essential as full training will be given. Candidates who love swimming, enjoy working with children and are keen to learn are very welcome to apply.

This is a part-time role and you must be happy to work weekends.

To apply please email us to request an application form.
