We are pleased to announce that Lynn, who teaches our babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers at Hoburne Cotswolds and Shilton, won this term's Star Teacher award.
Her winning nomination
"Olivia would like to nominate her superstar teacher Lynn, because Lynn really is an incredible teacher. Lynn is always happy, friendly and enthusiastic. Lynn makes every lesson fun and exciting. Olivia loves Lynn and is always excited to see her, as we walk along poolside. Lynn is calm and reassuring, and encourages the confidence of all the children, as well as the parents. Lynn tailors every lesson to the individual ability of each child and is incredible at remembering where each child is at. Lynn is very patient and appears genuinely excited and proud of each child, as they progress through the stages. All of the children are relaxed with Lynn.
Olivia smiles constantly during Lynn’s lesson, as she has so much fun. Lynn really is the most fun, patient and enthusiastic teacher and definitely deserves the star teacher award."

"The nominations were amazing! So wonderful and honest but this one stood out to me due to this teacher not only making the child feel happy, confident and safe but also the parent. They obviously have invested time and energy into not just their class but to get to know individual children and their abilities to make the lessons even more enjoyable whilst still teaching. I loved that they said she seems genuinely excited to see their little one."
