Directions:
Coldstone House is on Shipton Road in Ascott-Under-Wychwood. It is on the bend of Shipton Road, on the outskirts of the village along from the Village Hall (Tiddy Hall).
Access to the pool is through the main gate, straight on through the second gate to the left of the house (the main house will be on your right), access to the pool is then on your right, opposite the conservatory door, through a large wooden door.
Puddle Ducks posters will be displayed to help you find the location.
If coming from Shipton-Under-Wychwood (or via Shipton Road)
Follow the Shipton Road into the village of Ascott-Under-Wychwood, the road then bends to the left. As the road bends to the right into the village itself, you will have Coldstone House on your left and a private road opposite you. If you follow the bend to the right and get to the Village Hall (on your left) you have gone too far and the entrance to Coldstone House will be behind you.
From Ascott-Under-Wychwood (via London Road)
Driving through the village of Ascott-Under-Wychwood, you will go past Windrush Village School on your left and turn onto Shipton Road (on your left near the train station). You will go past The Swam pub on your right and Tiddy Hall on your left and the entrance to Coldstone House will be front of you before the road bends around to the left.
Parking:
Parking is available on the drive of the house. Initially, this through the main gates to the drive and through the second gate to the left of the house. Follow the driveway around to the stables where there is a small parking area. Overflow parking is on the main drive, ensuring that no other cars are blocked in and there is always a clear way through the drive. The pool itself can be accessed through the second gate and is on your right, opposite the entrance to the conservatory.
NB. Parking on the bend must be avoided as must parking in the private road near the property. Please ensure that you are parking responsibly and not blocking any footpaths or driveways.
Essential information:
- No food or drink is allowed to be consumed poolside
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained. - All children, from Little Dippers up to Swim Academy (all levels), must wear swim hats. We have hats for our Baby and Pre-school classes and Swim Academy classes in our shop. We also request that parents wear hats or tie their hair up.

Changing rooms: There is one small changing room at this venue and more changing on poolside. It is advisable to bring a towelling robe/hooded towel for ease of changing and to come “beach ready”.
Spectators: Occasional spectators are welcome but there is limited room poolside so we do ask that spectators are kept to a minimum.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use of this pool during lessons.
Poolside assistant: There is a poolside assistant, for our baby and preschool lessons, at this venue.
Technical information: Depth: Shallow end is 1m sloping to 1.4m in the deep end
