We need your help!
We were given the very sad news yesterday that our pool at Momentum Sheffield is closing on the 31st of October to be filled in. This is devastating for us as Puddle Ducks have run classes here for 7 years, it means a lot of children could be without a swimming class and that 2 of our valuable team members are going to be out of a job as this is the only pool that they teach at!
Please could you share this post with friends and family on Facebook to help us find a new pool. We have lots of school, hotels and health clubs etc that we have contacted, but private venues are not so easy to find. Do you know someone who has a private pool, who would maybe be willing to hire to us for a few hours a week, earn some extra income along with helping the community. Swimming not only is a life saving skill, it also has great physical, developmental and mental health benefits.
