About the pool
Location: Sandbach Boys' School,
Sandbach.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use
during hire times (four classes run simultaneously).
Changing rooms: Two changing rooms for females and
a smaller changing room for males (who need to access pool via
female changing room).
Poolside Assistant: There is a poolside assistant
present.
Pool Temp: 30-31oC
Pool Dimensions: 9m x 23m
Depth shallow end: 0.9m-1.2m (Beginners &
Intermediate classes)
Depth deep end: 1.2-3m (Advanced & Development
Group classes)
Parking: Use the school car park.
About the teachers
Gill
Gill came to Puddle Ducks as a Mum with her son, Jack. She loved it so much she became a Puddle Ducks teacher. Gill has swam competitively in a club and in the RAF during her service. She is very excited to be able to teach babies & children some excellent lifesaving skills & loves to see them enjoy themselves while learning. You are sure to love Gill's warm and bubbly personality alongside her true passion and commitment for teaching little ones in the water.
James Ashley
James has a passion for teaching swimming, which he has been doing for over 5 years. He joined Puddle Ducks in 2010 as a Swim Academy instructor and loved the programme so much he became a Pre-School teacher too. His warm friendly manner and encouragement has made him a firm favourite with customers of all ages.
Paul Copeland
Paul is a very popular, able and caring teacher. Children love his combination of fun and warmth. Outside of Puddle Ducks, Paul is a coach at a local swimming club.
Luisa Mackey (Teacher of the Term, Summer 2011)
Luisa has a lovely warm and bubbly personality. Teaching your little one to swim is her dream job and she has amazing results. In her own words, she absolutely "loves it, loves it, loves it". Luisa has two small boys of her own and has enjoyed taking them swimming from a very early age.
