Location: School Pool at Hadrian School, Pendower, Newcastle upon Tyne
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use during hire times
Changing rooms: One changing room for females and one changing room for males – both have direct access to the pool.
Poolside Assistant: There is a Puddle Ducks poolside assistant
Pool Temp: 32^oC
Pool Dimensions: 7m x 4m
Depth: 1m graduating to 1.4m
Max Preschool Class Ratios: 8 children/adult pairs:1 teacher
Parking: There is ample free parking in the school car park. If full, parking is easy in the surrounding residential streets.
Other: Please sign in at the school reception, where you will be directed to the pool.

About the teachers

Rosie Abraham-Hall

Rosie approached us about becoming a Puddle Ducks Teacher before we had even launched in Newcastle. A devoted mum to her own little Puddle Duck Noah, she quite literally oozes passion for her role and her calm and gentle manner puts even the most nervous parent or child at ease. I challenge you not to smile watching her classes ;0)

Susan Tonks

Susan was so keen to be a Puddle Ducks teacher, she had started her training within 2 weeks of us launching in the North East. A competitive swimmer in her teens and now devoted mummy to her own little Puddle Duck, Katie, Susan's entusiasm in the water is infectious. Her classes are fun and lively and she is devoted to giving each one of her Puddle Ducks and their parents a fantastic class week in week out. She takes genuine pride in the achievements of her Puddle Ducks and makes it a very special experience for all her families.

Carolyn

Carolyn is the proud owner of Puddle Ducks Newcastle Upon Tyne.

She grew up in the water, swimming competitively both locally in the North East and nationally, and lifeguarding in the United States. After taking her son along to Puddle Ducks classes in Leeds, she was hooked and left her career in accountancy to run a Puddle Ducks business. She is passionate about passing on her love for swimming to babies and young children and seeing their water confidence grow from a young age. She is dedicated to making every parent and child come out of her lessons with a smile on their face.
