About the pool
Location: Owned by Delamere Forest School and
situated in their grounds.
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use
during hire times (two classes usually run simultaneously for Swim
Academy classes)
Changing rooms: Two changing rooms for females and
a smaller changing rooms for males all with direct access to the
pool.
Poolside Assistant: There is a Puddle Ducks
poolside assistant.
Pool Temp: 30-32oC
Pool Dimensions: 13m x 6m.
Depth: 0.9m graduating to 1.4m (roped off beyond
this depth)
Max Class Ratios: 8 children/adult pairs:1

Parking: There is ample free parking a short walk
away and a small school car park. (please see the pool directions
for more details)
About the teachers
Gill
Gill came to Puddle Ducks as a Mum with her son, Jack. She loved it so much she became a Puddle Ducks teacher. Gill has swam competitively in a club and in the RAF during her service. She is very excited to be able to teach babies & children some excellent lifesaving skills & loves to see them enjoy themselves while learning. You are sure to love Gill's warm and bubbly personality alongside her true passion and commitment for teaching little ones in the water.
Melanie
Melanie joined Puddle Ducks after enjoying the classes with both her daughters. A keen swimmer herself, her friendly and caring approach, along with her excellent technical skills, means she gives each child in her class a fun and progressive swimming experience.

Vanessa
Vanessa (otherwise known as Nes) has a young son, who adores his lessons at Puddle Ducks. We all adore Vanessa's calm, friendly and fun attitude - we are sure you will too as your child progresses in her classes.
Susan Hands (Teacher of the Term, Autumn 2010)
Susan was already a qualified swimming teacher and a Tumble Tots teacher too, so joining Puddle Ducks was a natural next step for her. Susan tells us the day passes too quickly when she is in the water teaching, and she goes home "buzzing". She has a real enthusiasm for teaching and fantastic technical knowledge which she shares readily.

Luisa has a lovely warm and bubbly personality. Teaching your little one to swim is her dream job and she has amazing results. In her own words, she absolutely "loves it, loves it, loves it". Luisa has two small boys of her own and has enjoyed taking them swimming from a very early age.
