About the pool
Location: Private Pool in Euxton – Please ring for precise details of pool
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use during hire times
Changing rooms: A small family changing room which has two cubicles and area for changing. An area has been created for dads to change in as well. There is a travel cot for customers use to assist with changing and also pool side assistant will help when required
Poolside Assistant: There is a Puddle Ducks poolside assistant
Pool Temp: 30.3oC
Pool Dimensions: Area used by Puddle Ducks is 7 metres by 4.8 metres
Depth: starts at 0.88metres up to 1.3metres
Max Preschool Class Ratios: Mid-week 6 children/adult pairs:1 teacher and weekends 8 children/adult pairs:1 teacher
Parking: There is ample car parking at rear of the pool
Other: Once you have parked your car walk round the side of the pool building and enter through the door. Due to size of the pool changing rooms please can we avoid bringing car seats and prams. The Puddle Ducks sign will be outside the pool.
About the teachers
Alison Higham
Before having my son Charlie in May 2010, I was a Regional Business Manager in the private healthcare sector. Swimming has always been one of my favourite forms of exercise along with practicing Shotokan karate to black belt level and I hope to pass this enjoyment onto the children I teach. I first took my son to Puddleducks as a parent and loved it so much; I decided to become a teacher. I’m passionate about my role as a Swimming Teacher for Puddleducks, South Lancashire and I’m constantly amazed by the progress our little Puddle Ducks make each time I see them.
Vicky Walker
Vicky joined Puddle Ducks as a Mum with her son Harry 4 years ago, who is now in our swim academy and continued with her daughter Daisy who is in little dippers. Vicky loved her classes that much that she joined Puddle Ducks in an office role as she wanted to spread the word and tell everyone about her experiences, after 12 months she decided that she wanted to become a teacher as-well. Before joining Puddle Ducks Vicky worked in a hotel, starting off as a receptionist working up to a sales manager role. Vicky has a true passion for teaching and has a calm, caring and friendly personality. Vicky always says “it’s the best job in the world”
