All you need to know about Ashford International Hotel
An Ashford based swimming pool from which we run our Baby & Pre-School swimming lessons on weekday mornings and Swim Academy classes for the older children after school. Classes here are suitable for babies from birth, toddlers and children up to the age of 10 years old. Each of our classes are tailored to the individual child's age, confidence and ability. The 30 minute lessons are structured to include a range of swimming activities, songs and games. Our aim is for every child to love swimming, respect the water and swim beautifully.
We will also be running our Aquanatal classes here on a Wednesday evening.
Lessons here will run term time only.

Directions: From the M20, At junction 9, take the A251 exit to Ashford/A20/Faversham. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Fougeres Way/A20. Keep left to stay on Fougeres Way/A20. At Drovers Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Simone Weil Ave/A28. Proceed down Simone Weil Avenue and the hotel will be on your Left.
Parking: Parking is on the right, and continue round to the back of the hotel. Enter through the spa entrance. Enter your car reg into the screen at the spa reception each time you attend.
Essential information
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly Nappy Wraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not potty/toilet trained. - All nappies and swim nappies must be taken home and not left at the pool.
- All swimmers/parents are asked to shower before entering the pool, there are showers in the changing rooms
- There separate male and female changing facilities with showers.
- There is limited space poolside for family and friends to watch these classes.
- Poolside can become slippery when wet. We advise bringing a change of shoes (flip-flops or sliders) to change into poolside.

Technical information:
- Pool Temp: 29-30°C. It is recommended that children wear bodywarmers/sunsuits/wetsuits for classes here.
- Pool Depth: 1.2m
- Pool Dimensions: We will be using half of the pool.
- Max Pre-School Class Ratios: 10 children/adult pairs: 1 teacher.
- Poolside Assistant: There is no Puddle Ducks Poolside Assistant.
