Parking:
Customers are not permitted to park on the school grounds. Customers should park on Grove Road (or other surrounding roads) and walk onto the school property from Grove Road (signposted Pedestrian Access to Sonning Common Swim School). This is not the main Sonning Common Primary School entrance or reception. The Swimming Pool building is in a separate building at the back of the staff car park (beyond Sonning Common Pre School). Essential information:
- Please arrive in plenty of time to get changed, lessons will start promptly
- A well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn with a disposable swim nappy or one of our environmentally friendly NappyWraps & Liners underneath if your child is in Floaties, Splashers or Kickers and in other programmes if they are not yet fully potty/toilet trained. Changing rooms:
Separate male and female changing rooms
Exclusivity: Puddle Ducks have exclusive use of the pool during lesson times.
Access: There is a pushchair park on the right hand side near the swimming pool in the car park.

- Pool temperature: 31°C
- Poolside assistant: There is no Puddle Ducks poolside assistant
- Depth: 1m throughout the pool.
- Maximum class ratios: 8 children/adult pairs:1 teacher.

From Caversham:
- Head north on Peppard Rd/B481 toward Burcombe Way
- After 2 miles turn left onto Kennylands Rd, after 1 mile turn right onto Grove Rd.

We like to make life fun and easy for our Puddle Ducks customers so here are some local places we think you and your children may like. You could even meet up before or after the class with your Puddle Ducks classmates.
Closest play-park:
Prospect Park is Reading’s largest open space. It has a children’s play area and a sandpit on the opposite side to the venue. Approx 20 min drive.
Closest café:
Picnic Foods. Open every day 7am to 4pm. Café. Child friendly.
Closest soft play:
Red Kangaroo is a 15 minute Drive.
Other Local Attractions:
Beale Park, Reading RG8 9NW. Beale Wildlife Park and Gardens is situated by the River Thames, between the villages of Pangbourne and Lower Basildon in Berkshire. (Approx 20 min drive from the venue)
Greys Court National Trust is a 7 minute drive.
