Puddle Ducks Bristol & Bath are celebrating after being shortlisted as finalists in the Education category at the prestigious Bristol Life Awards 2026.
The team are thrilled to receive recognition following what has been a challenging but transformational year for the business. Despite ongoing pressures felt across the small business sector, 2025 marked a period of significant growth for Puddle Ducks Bristol & Bath. Staying true to their vision - to teach every single child in their territory to swim - the team expanded into new pools, introduced additional sessions, welcomed and trained new staff members, and helped even more children gain essential life-saving water skills.
“We’ll be celebrating our 18th birthday this year, and this is the first time we’ve ever entered an awards programme - we felt it was finally time! Like many businesses, we’ve had to dig deep since Covid to rebuild, and in 2025 we really started to see our hard work pay off. We now have a full team who truly live and breathe Puddle Ducks, and our wonderful families are staying with us longer because we’re constantly improving the service we provide.”

The nomination reflects not only the growth of the business, but also its continued commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred swimming lessons that support confidence, safety, and lifelong skills in and around the water.
Winners will be announced on Thursday 26 March at the awards ceremony held at Ashton Gate Stadium.
