Three times a year our team of 48 get the chance to nominate a colleague for our Team Appreciation Award - recognising those who go above and beyond for their colleagues, their customers and our business. This summer, Rachel Williams won - and it's not hard to see why.
Meet Rachel. 💙
Rachel is a Poolside Assistant at our North Somerset pool and our Marketing Assistant - and she does both with an energy and dedication that genuinely inspires everyone around her. It's Rachel who hand writes every single distance award certificate and posts them to our swimmers' homes. It's Rachel who is out in the community - posting on local Facebook groups, attending events and spreading the Puddle Ducks word across North Somerset and beyond. It's Rachel who turns up with a smile, rolls up her sleeves - and yes, sometimes her iconic yellow rubber gloves - and just gets on with it. 💛
Her nominator Carly said it beautifully:
"She's kind, caring, the customers love her and she's a true all rounder. She is truly passionate about Puddle Ducks and always trying to get our name out there."
And from our Marketing Manager Gina:
"A fantastic team member who always goes above and beyond - whether working extra hours to ensure swimmers get their certificates quickly or travelling to support where she's needed. She always uses her initiative to get the job done quickly and professionally."
