Huge congratulations are in order for Jen, your Star Teacher for Spring/Summer 2026!
The winning nomination, selected by Cheryl from Jo Jingles, was from Tina, who swims at Seashell in Cheadle, and read:
"Jen has been our teacher on and off for past 18 months. She is amazing. My grandson loves her.
Jen always has a smile, makes lessons fun and most of all my grandson listens to her. Apart from the occasional lesson, he excels in the class, learning something new each time. Only problem he smiles so much his mouth is open preventing underwater activities!
He is so water confident. He's aware that he needs to be careful round water and what to do if something happens.
When my grandson isn't playing ball with me Jen always calms me down and I never feel stupid.
Jen is inclusive, and just a completely lovely person. This is the reason why I wish to nominate her. I'm sure if my grandson could type, he would agree!"
When selecting her winner, Cheryl said: "I would be delighted for Jen to win the award - not only is she a fantastic teacher, she’s patient, kind and enthusiastic.
"She shines! Going above and beyond, it’s clear she has a special connection with the grown ups too, giving them the support they need for their child to succeed! Well done Jen!"
Well done to all our brilliant teachers for receiving so many fabulous nominations, you all truly are superstars and we are so grateful for the love, energy, and enthusiasm that you put into all of your lessons! Thank you to all our wonderful customers for sending in your nominations, they truly did make our teachers' day to read them all, and we are so glad you all love your lessons with our wonderful team!
