It’s not just our fabulous swimmers who have been practising their lifesaving skills this week for Water Safety Pyjama Week- our wonderful teachers have too!
Joe, Charlotte, Melanie, and Jen have all spent the day in Staffordshire to renew their Safety Award for Teachers lifesaving and first aid qualification - an accredited course from the international Swimming Teachers Association (the STA), which trains our teachers in comprehensive first aid, in-water rescue and resuscitation, as well as CPR, choking practices, and use of an AED - all vitally important training which could save the life of a casualty at our pools if an accident were to happen. We are always committed to ensuring our teachers are trained to the highest possible standards, ensuring safe swimming for you, and your little ones!
