Hello and a very warm welcome to Puddle Ducks Chester, Wirral and Liverpool.
My name is Kerry, and I am the very proud owner of the Puddle Ducks business in this area. I have been a customer of Puddle Ducks since my daughter was 10 weeks old so have experienced the joy, pride and fun of seeing both my little girl and boy learn to swim, whilst loving everying minute of it.
I have 2 children, Erin and Freddie, who are both fully fledged Puddle Ducks. I remember saying to my husband after Erin’s first Puddle Ducks lesson, that I would love to do this for a living, and I’m delighted that I now have that opportunity. So, I have left behind my career in Human Resources to do something that makes a real difference, teaching your child to swim.
We have a fantastic team, with passionate teachers, enthusiastic Poolside Assistants and friendly office staff and we can’t wait to share the Puddle Ducks experience with you.
Please get in touch, and I promise you will find our enthusiasm so infectious, that you will be swimming with your own little Puddle Duck in no time.

Teacher of the Term - Spring 2012
We are very proud of our teachers Helen, Caroline and Catherine, who were nominated in the teacher of the term competition. Whist they didn't win the overall prize, it is still fantastic that they have been recognised for their efforts by the people who matter the most - our customers.
Thank you to Spencers, Nathaniels, Poppy's, Matej's, Annie's, Ella's, Jonah, Olivia and James's mummies and daddies for taking the time to do this, here are your nominations:
We would like to nominate Caroline for the teacher of the year please. Spencer joined Little Dippers last year after having all his confidence knocked from another lesson. We were recommended you so thought we would give it a try. At the beginning, Spencer would not enter the water at all and spent the first lesson on the side. Caroline was fantastic with him, and each lesson his confidence improved more and more. Now he is doing fantastically well, and Caroline has noted how well he has come in the last few months. She really has taken the time with him and he loves swimming on a Saturday now which is lovely to see from Spencer.
- Spencer's Mummy
Caroline's a really good example of how puddleducks inspires people to become teachers. We met her when she was in the water as a child minder, She was so inspired by the lessons, that she became a puddle ducks teacher. She has made a super teacher, she puts my little boy at his ease very well, given him confidence, and doesn't let him give up. She works hard to understand every child's individual needs and makes the lesson lots of fun.
- Nathaniel's Mummy
I would like to nominate Catherine Charlish from the Chester and Wirral franchise for teacher of the term. Catherine is a fantastic teacher, encouraging and committed to her pupils. She makes lessons fun and has brought our daughter Poppy's confidence in the water to the next level over the last 18 months. Poppy has been taught to be safe around water and to have fun due to Catherine.
- Poppy's Mummy
I would like to nominate teacher Helen as a SUPER teacher for Spring term 2012. My little sunshine Matej Janovec ( 17 months ) absolutely loves Helen`s classes and also I enjoy all entertainment. When Matej was 4 months baby he been cried only once in the pool , when he been first time under water, but Helen in one second make a big smile on his little face. We so much love when she singing a talk to Matej and show to us how to play in the water and make Matej comfortable and smiley. Every Sunday when we going to swimming pool we listening Puddle Duck CD in the car and Matej knows that we going to swim and see again Helen, I don`t know describe how looks his face when he see a car park and his favourite place. The last lesson Helen make me laugh how Matej jumped into the water from foam mat. I hope she win as a best teacher and I wish her all the best in her future, because she love her job a she is very professional.
- Matej's Mummies
Annie despised bath times and hated the water. This all changed when we attended our first puddle ducks session with Helen. Amazingly, Annie now splashes, floats and even blows raspberries underwater upon hearing the 'bubbles' instruction. We are indebted to Helen for bringing this change in our daughter. Her high expectations, conscientiousness and perseverance have allowed splash time to become a treasured and precious experience with our little Puddle Duck!
- Annie's Mummy
My daughter Ella started at Puddleducks aged 5 months with a different teacher and she cried every single lesson, she would not let go of me and were going to give up altogether .... then along came Helen! 2 years on Ella is about to move into Dippers and all because of Helen. She is always smiling, encouraging, positive and friendly. Ella holds her arms out to go to Helen and can't wait to get to class, what a difference a teacher makes, we are swimming proof!
- Ella's Mummy
She's happy and smiley and lots of fun
The class all love her each and every one
If I could take her home bathtimes would be great
An awesome teacher and a really good mate
Enthusiastic and daring, just what I need
You're by far the best teacher says Jonah Read
So what are you waiting for, don't delay
Vote 'Spring teacher of the term' award to Helen Heyes
- Jonah's Mummy (brilliant poem thank you!)
I would like to nominate Helen Heyes (Chester, Wirral, Liverpool) for teacher of the term. Olivia and I have been to Puddleducks lessons with her since Olivia was 11 weeks old (she turned 2 on Saturday). We have been through many ups and downs but Helen has given me the confidence, support and help to continue on - especially through the tantrums! She is always cheerful, and makes each lesson fun and enjoyable. Olivia has recently started to really enjoy the lessons again and it is lovely to see her having fun. I am so glad that we have persevered, and am very glad that we have such a wonderful teacher.
- Olivia's Mummy
It’s clear Helen is passionate about her work and the Puddleducks programme. Every week Helen ensures that she interacts equally with every single baby in the group and has a genuine warmth and fun nature which the babies can sense; keeping them calm, happy and splashing like crazy!

TEACHER OF THE TERM Autumn 2011
We are very proud of our teachers Helen and Caroline, who were both nominated in the teacher of the term competition. Whist they didn't win the overall prize, it is still fantastic that they have been recognised for their efforts by the people who matter the most - our customers.
Thank you to Rosie's, Darcey's and Olivia's mums for taking the time to do this, here are your nominations:
Nominated by Jill & Rosie Galvin
Helen is a 'role model' teacher, she is down to earth, delightful with the children and parents alike. She is strong, caring, funny, kind, very experienced, determined to get them swimming, and totally trustworthy with my daughters safety in the water. It has been a delight having Helen in our Sundays and we will miss her when we leave at the end of this year. Thank you Helen for making a massive difference to Rosie and giving her a skill for the rest of her life!
Nominated by Helen Bisson
I am nominating Helen Heyes because she is always happy and smiling when we arrive for our lesson. She makes the lesson really enjoyable & puts you at ease if you are unsure or if your little one is playing up. She never makes you feel inadquate and gives you the confidence you need inorder to get the best out of yourself and your little one. She has a warm and friendly personality, and all the little ones love her. My little girl gets really excited when she sees her at the start of our lesson.
Nominated by Nicola Uttley (mum to Olivia)
I would like to nominate Caroline for the teacher of the term award as she is so kind to Olivia. Olivia absolutely loves swimming and has no problem with going to caroline during lessons. She is a very good teacher and makes me feel relaxed with things as well as Olivia especially when she sees I am a little nervous for example with Olivia diving by herself as she is now over 12 months. I had to go back to work unexpectedly, but I have arranged it so that I can still have Tuesdays off so we can continue with our lessons with Caroline. She is clear with her instructions and makes every lesson enjoyable. Tuesdays are not the same when we are not at Puddle Ducks.

Testimonials
“Amelia LOVES her swimming lessons with Caroline and Kerry, and I can't imagine her being taught with anyone other than Puddle Ducks, you're all fantastic”
by Jackie, Amelia’s Mummy
Our teacher Helen should be nominated for teacher of the term, she knows all the kickers and understands their little personalities so they're not just another pupil. My little girl loves her and always trys to show off!! Swimming lessons are expensive but Helen pays them so much attention, it's worth it seeing Willow enjoy herself.
by Louise, Willow's Mummy
Joel's strong, noisy, stubborn and loves water. We were the only newcomers but Caroline's extremely welcoming, ensuring we were up to speed. Joel hates swimming on his back, Caroline offered support and advice on techniques to use, which worked great! Now Joel not only loves water but Caroline too!
by Donna, Joel's mummy
Helen is always very helpful, supportive and fun. Bags of energy and loved by the kids.I want to know how she manages to stay so jolly after numerous back to back lessons !
