Tonight we say a HUGE congratulations and goodbye to two very special swimmers of ours; Finley & Lewis for graduating Level 6 Swim Academy!!
They both started with us in Level 1, all the way back in April 2018, and have progressively moved up through the levels as their skills and confidence grew. Gaining the first distance award of 5m was a turning point for Finn, who is deaf, as he really felt included and inspired to learn more as our teachers sign to him during lessons. Both boys are now able to demonstrate that they can swim 100 metres, using a minimum of three different strokes. Lewis even tried out to join Gloucester City Swim Club, but he turned down their offer of joining them, instead choosing to stay with us as he really likes our lessons and his teacher Clare.
Congratulations on your swimming journey boys, we wish you all the very best for your future and thank you for choosing and sticking with us over the years! 👏🥳🏊♂️
