The DJ, Richard Beauvoisin, is a former Puddle Ducks dad, so he knew lots about us.

Sarah said it felt just like Desert Island Discs! Two hours, six songs that mark key moments in her life, plus lots of talk about Puddle Ducks.

They chatted about our brilliant swim school and what being "child led" means, and (with summer here and everyone heading to beaches, pools and paddling pools) she shared the RLSS UK Water Safety Code.
If you’re swimming with us, you and your children will have learned lots about staying safe in the water, as well as learning key water safety skills, but here's a useful reminder:

🛑 Stop and Think: assess your surroundings and look for dangers.
🤝 Stay Together: always go with friends or family, and swim at a lifeguarded venue.
📞 Call 999: ask for the Fire and Rescue Service inland, or the Coastguard at the coast, and don't enter the water to rescue.
🏊 Float: if you fall in or get tired, stay calm and float on your back to call for help.
Huge thanks to Richard for inviting Sarah onto the programme. She loves talking Puddle Ducks!
